Sach ey ikko je tun jane gur darshan didaar ey sach; Mahima gaani ik daate di ese di vichaar ey sach. Sachhe rab ne sach banaye sach aap nirankar ey sach; Satgur poora sachcha ey te is naal karna pyar ey sach. Sachchi satgur di ey sangat eh sachcha darbaar ey sach; Sachcha sabh da sai sachcha sachcha ik kartar ey sach. Gur mandar ey sachcha suchcha gur pooja satkar ey sach; Sach aakhan jis sach pachhata usda kaar vihar ey sach. Ik sachche nun pave jehrha us lai kujh vi kach nahin; Kahe avtar guru de bajhon haasal hunda sach nahin. |

True is the One, provided you know Him, and true is the divine glimpse of the True
Master; True is to sing the glory of the One, the Supreme Donor, and true is to have a discourse on Him. True is the creation of God, the Formless God Himself is true; True is the perfect True Master, and true is to love him. True is the company of saints (disciples) of the True Master, and true is this assembly (congregation) of the True Master; True is the Supreme Lord, and true is the One Creator of the universe. True Master is the true temple, and true is reverence to and worship of the True Master; Truly speaking, true is the dealing of the one who has realized the Truth. The one who realizes the True One, nothing is untrue for him; Avtar says, Truth cannot be attained without the True Master. |
Meaning
Here Baba Avtar Singh ji talks about the ultimate truth which is Almighty God, and he can be known only through True Master.
God is the only truth, which is going to stay forever. Truth is to sing the glory of the One, the Supreme Donor, and true is to have a discourse on Him. True is the creation of God, the Formless God Himself is true. True is the perfect True Master, and true is to love him. True is the company of saints (disciples) of the True Master, and true is this assembly (congregation) of the True Master. True is the Supreme Lord, and true is the One Creator of the universe. True Master is the true temple, and true is reverence to and worship of the True Master; Truly speaking, true is the dealing of the one who has realised the Truth. The one who realises the True One, nothing is untrue for him.
But, Truth cannot be attained without the True Master.
